Hi, Iā€™m Olivia.

Starting therapy can be intimidating. You are here. That is the first step. I am so excited to tell you a bit about myself & my work. As you get to know me and feel interested in working together please fill out the contact form to get connected!

I grew up in a small Massachusetts town where I was encouraged to be curious about my environment, my dreams and my emotions. This afforded me the space to learn about healing through exploration of self, community & nature.

I studied my undergraduate degree in Fairfield, Connecticut where I was also a Division I swimmer. It was during this time that I began to understand the importance and the power of mind-body connection. When our bodies tell us what we need, as they so often do, it can be both exciting and confusing to listen to that call.

One thing that I could never deny was the energy of New York. I moved to the city six years ago where I attended my graduate program at NYU Silver School of Social Work, and while I'm a New England girl at heart, New York has been my home ever since.

After completing my education, I had the chance to work with various groups, allowing me to figure out what truly mattered to me. This path led me to establish Olivia Decas Therapy, where I've been fortunate to engage in one-on-one psychotherapy sessions with women in their 20s and 30s, helping them navigate the complexities of life. Using shame-informed talk therapy, my goal is to provide a safe space for clients to explore their identities and develop the skills to embrace radical self-love.

In addition to individual therapy, I founded The HA Project, an offshoot of Olivia Decas Therapy. The HA Project is dedicated to aiding colleges, universities, and brands in expanding their knowledge and resources to support athletes after they retire from their sports.

Regardless of how I provide support, my ultimate goal is to empower clients to truly see, embrace, and love their genuine selves throughout all life stages.
